The RECTORSEAL CGDUCG Cover Guard is a multi-zone line set cover wall duct designed to conceal refrigerant lines, electrical conduit, and other mechanical runs along exterior or interior wall surfaces. With a 4.5-inch interior width, this multi-zone duct accommodates larger line set bundles common in split-system and multi-zone HVAC installations. The CGDUCG ships in gray and accepts paint for color-matching to the structure. HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors install this product during new equipment commissioning or line set rerouting work. UV-resistant construction makes it suitable for exposed outdoor applications.
This line set cover is intended for multi-zone mini-split and standard split-system HVAC applications where a clean, professional finish is required over exposed line sets. The 4.5-inch interior width supports larger conductor bundles found in multi-zone configurations. The gray finish is paintable, making it adaptable to residential and light commercial exterior wall aesthetics. The 48-inch duct section serves as the main run component in a full Cover Guard system that also includes fittings and terminations.
Designed as an OEM-style component within the Cover Guard line set cover system, compatible with multi-zone HVAC line set cover installations requiring a 4.5-inch interior width wall duct section.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians or mechanical contractors as part of a split-system or multi-zone mini-split commissioning. Power down the indoor and outdoor units before routing any electrical or low-voltage conductors through the duct. Secure the base channel to the wall surface before snapping the cover into place, and use the pre-installed zip-tie clips to bundle internal lines. Follow local mechanical and building codes for penetrations and exterior wall attachment requirements.
