The Rectorseal 66340 Metacaulk Putty is a moldable, non-curing, one-component fire-rated material designed for through-penetration firestop systems. It intumesces when heated, forming an insulating char. In the event of a fire, it prevents the spread of flames, smoke, gas, and water through penetration openings. It is applied by hand, and no tools or mixing is required.
