The diffuser ships with an R-6 insulated steel back panel that limits condensation and heat gain on the back side of the unit. The white powder-coat finish blends with standard drop-ceiling systems. No collar and no damper are included, so airflow control must be handled upstream. A seismic support tab is built into the frame for code-required ceiling restraint in applicable jurisdictions.
