The RECTORSEAL 107000041 is a clear PVC solvent cement used to solvent-weld PVC pipe and fittings in plumbing, irrigation, conduit, and drain-waste-vent installations. Clear formulation allows visual inspection of the bonded joint after assembly, which is useful for quality checks on exposed or accessible piping. Packaged in a 1/2 pint container, this cement is suited for small repairs, service calls, and low-volume installations where a full quart can would be impractical. Licensed plumbers, irrigation technicians, and electricians working with PVC conduit are the typical users.
This cement is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications where PVC pipe and fittings must be permanently joined. Common install scenarios include drain-waste-vent rough-in, cold-water supply lines, Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 PVC conduit runs, and irrigation laterals. The 1/2 pint size fits easily in a service bag or truck stock, making it a practical choice for field repairs and maintenance calls.
Designed for use with PVC pipe and fittings in standard plumbing, electrical conduit, and irrigation applications.
PVC solvent cement should be applied by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC or UPC. Always cut and deburr pipe ends before applying primer and cement per manufacturer and code requirements. Keep the container sealed when not in use and work in a well-ventilated area, as solvent vapors are flammable and should not be exposed to open flame. Allow full cure time before pressure-testing the joint.
