The RAINDRIP INC R338CT is a 1/4-inch drip line tap-off fitting designed to connect 1/4-inch tubing to the existing 1/2-inch male pipe thread of an underground sprinkler riser. Each unit includes a filter cone to help prevent debris from entering the drip line. This fitting is used to tap into an existing sprinkler riser and transition from a pressurized sprinkler supply line into a low-volume drip irrigation system. The package contains 10 fittings. Licensed irrigation contractors and experienced DIYers handling drip system conversions are the primary installers of this component.

The R338CT is suited for residential and light commercial drip irrigation installations where an existing underground sprinkler riser with a 1/2-inch male pipe thread is being converted or supplemented with 1/4-inch drip tubing.
