Product Description

The RAINBIRD NATIONAL SLS TRU8O is an 8-station indoor/outdoor irrigation timer built for contractor-grade field use. The unit is housed in a rugged case rated for both indoor and outdoor installation, and connects to AC power and valve wiring via set screw terminals. A built-in battery maintains programming through power interruptions. The multi-function display and intuitive programming dial support three independent programs (A, B, and C), each with up to four start times, for a total of 12 start times. The controller supports up to eight irrigation stations plus a master valve or pump start relay output, and accepts a rain or rain/freeze sensor input. Licensed irrigation contractors and experienced landscape technicians are the primary installers.

The TRU8O is designed for residential and light commercial irrigation systems where flexible scheduling and reliable outdoor enclosure ratings are required. Scheduling options include day-of-week, odd or even calendar days, or cyclic intervals from one to 30 days. Manual watering modes allow single-station, all-station, or individual-program activation. Additional features include watering delay, permanent days-off programming, and seasonal adjustment for run-time percentage. The controller is upgradeable to WiFi-based remote monitoring and control with the addition of a LNK2 WiFi Module, sold separately.
