The RAINBIRD NATIONAL SLS 42SA is a simple-adjust pop-up gear-driven rotor sprinkler head designed for residential and commercial irrigation systems. It delivers a spray distance of 26 to 38 feet and features an arc adjustment range of 40 to 360 degrees, making it suitable for both part-circle and full-circle coverage patterns. The rotor pops up 4 inches to clear tall turf and grass without interruption to spray pattern. Arc and radius adjustments are made from the top of the head using only a flat-blade screwdriver, reducing service time in the field. Licensed irrigation contractors and landscape professionals are the primary installers.

The 42SA is suited for turf areas in residential lawns, commercial grounds, sports fields, and municipal green spaces where consistent mid-range throw distances are required. It supports part-circle reversing rotation as well as full-circle continuous rotation, giving the installer flexibility across a wide range of zone layouts.
