The RAINBIRD NATIONAL SLS 32SA is a simple-adjust, pop-up gear driven rotor designed for residential and light commercial irrigation systems. It delivers a spray distance of 19 to 32 feet with an adjustable nozzle arc ranging from 40 to 360 degrees, making it adaptable to a wide range of zone layouts. The 32SA features Rain Curtain Technology for uniform water distribution across the spray pattern. Arc and radius adjustments are made directly on top of the head using only a flat blade screwdriver, reducing the need for specialized tools during setup or seasonal tuning. Licensed irrigation contractors and experienced landscaping professionals are the primary installers.
The 32SA is suited for turf areas requiring flexible coverage, including residential lawns with taller grass where standard pop-up height falls short. The 4 inch pop-up height allows the head to clear dense turf growth and deliver unobstructed spray. The part-circle reversing and full-circle rotation modes allow the head to be configured for corner, edge, or center-field zones. The 1/2 inch inlet is compatible with standard irrigation lateral line pipe and swing joint fittings. This product ships in a package quantity of 24 units, appropriate for contractors stocking multiple heads per job.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation rotor for standard residential and light commercial irrigation systems with 1/2 inch inlet lateral lines and swing joint connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed irrigation contractor or qualified landscape professional in accordance with local plumbing and irrigation codes. Shut off the irrigation supply valve and relieve line pressure before making any connections or adjustments. Set arc and radius on the bench or after initial flush to avoid nozzle clogging during setup. Verify head spacing against the manufacturer spray distance charts to prevent dry spots or overthrow onto hardscapes.
