The RAIN BIRD x47030 is an XFCV series polyethylene dripline designed for on-surface and subsurface drip irrigation systems. It features a built-in 3.5 psi heavy-duty check valve that keeps the line charged when the system is off, preventing drainage at low points in the zone. Rated at 0.9 gallons per hour (GPH) per emitter with 12-inch emitter spacing, this dripline delivers consistent, uniform output across slopes and elevation changes. The 100-foot roll is installed by irrigation contractors and landscaping professionals in residential and commercial drip zones.
The x47030 XFCV dripline is suited for applications where terrain elevation changes create drainage or puddling problems that standard dripline cannot address. The integrated check valve holds back up to 8 feet of elevation head, preventing water from draining out of low-lying sections of the zone after the valve closes. It is rated for operating pressures between 20 and 60 psi and a maximum temperature of 125 degrees F, making it compatible with a wide range of irrigation system configurations. Accepts RAIN BIRD easy-fit compression fittings, XF series barbed insert fittings, and standard 17 mm barbed insert fittings.
Compatible with RAIN BIRD easy-fit compression fittings, RAIN BIRD XF series barbed insert fittings, and other standard 17 mm barbed insert fittings. Designed for use within the RAIN BIRD XF Series dripline system on surface drip irrigation applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified irrigation contractor following local codes and manufacturer guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before making any connections or modifications to the dripline. Avoid kinking the tubing during installation, and ensure the line is properly flushed before connecting emitters or end caps. Verify that system operating pressure stays within the 20 to 60 psi rated range to maintain emitter performance and check valve function.
