The RAIN BIRD x47012 is a pressure-compensating XF-CV dripline designed for subsurface and surface drip irrigation systems. Emitters are factory-installed at 18-inch spacing and deliver 0.6 gallons per hour (GPH) each, providing consistent, low-volume water application directly to the root zone. Each coil is 500 feet in length, making it well suited for mid-to-large irrigation installations. Landscape contractors and irrigation technicians install this dripline in residential and commercial settings where water efficiency and even distribution across varying terrain are priorities.
This dripline is used in row crops, landscape beds, turf edges, vegetable gardens, and drip zone conversions where uniform emitter output is required. The pressure-compensating design maintains consistent flow across a range of operating pressures, reducing the need for pressure regulation at individual zones. The 500-foot coil length reduces splice points and simplifies layout in longer runs.
Designed as an OEM-style dripline for use with standard drip irrigation systems accepting XF-CV series dripline with barbed fittings and inline emitter configurations.
Irrigation technicians should shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting or connecting dripline. Use appropriate barbed fittings and end caps rated for drip irrigation service. Follow local irrigation codes and manufacturer guidance for minimum bend radius and burial depth when installed subsurface. Flush the line before capping to clear any debris introduced during installation.
