The RAIN BIRD x10330 is a wide flow control zone kit designed for commercial irrigation systems, particularly those handling dirty or reclaimed water. It centers on the PESB valve, which uses a patented scrubbing action to resist clogging in challenging water conditions. The kit includes a pressure-regulating quick-check basket filter with a color-indicator window that shifts from green to red when cleaning is needed. The 1-inch nominal inlet and a flow range of 0.3 to 20 gpm make it well suited for medium to large commercial irrigation zones. Licensed irrigation technicians and commercial landscape contractors are the primary installers.
This kit is intended for commercial dirty water and reclaimed water irrigation applications where standard valve assemblies are prone to fouling. The PESB valve and filtration assembly work together to extend service intervals and reduce downtime on active irrigation systems. The combined basket filter and pressure regulator assembly is 24 percent smaller than the previous-generation unit, easing installation in tight valve boxes and manifold configurations. The threaded filter top allows for quick removal and cleaning of the stainless steel screen without specialized tools.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation zone kit for commercial irrigation systems requiring dirty water or reclaimed water valve assemblies with integrated pressure regulation and filtration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed irrigator or qualified irrigation technician in accordance with applicable local codes. Shut off the irrigation mainline and relieve system pressure before disassembling or replacing any components. Verify that inlet flow and operating pressure fall within the rated range of the valve assembly before commissioning. Inspect and clean the basket filter screen at each service visit or when the indicator turns red.
