The D-CIJ3D fits standard Decora-style wall boxes, making it a practical solution for conference rooms, classrooms, hospitality installations, and home media rooms. Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or qualified AV integrator in accordance with NEC Article 725 guidelines for Class 2 and Class 3 low-voltage signal wiring. De-energize the connected AV system before making or breaking signal connections at the wallplate. Ensure the wall box depth is sufficient for the rear connector clearance before securing the plate. Do not route low-voltage signal wiring in the same conduit as line-voltage circuits.
