The RACO 4721 is a 3/8 inch liquid-tight straight nylon connector designed for use with liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit. It provides a secure, watertight termination point where flexible conduit meets an electrical enclosure, junction box, or panel knockout. The nylon construction resists corrosion and is well suited for damp or wet location installations. Electricians use this connector to maintain conduit system integrity while allowing for the flexibility required in tight or vibration-prone runs. It installs quickly without special tools and is sized for standard 3/8 inch liquid-tight conduit.
This connector is used in commercial and residential electrical installations where liquid-tight flexible conduit is required. Common applications include HVAC equipment connections, motor wiring, outdoor apparatus, and any installation where moisture resistance is a code requirement. The straight configuration is appropriate where conduit enters an enclosure at a direct angle without requiring a bend at the fitting itself.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting compatible with 3/8 inch liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit systems in standard electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before making any connections at the enclosure. Hand-tighten the connector to the knockout and secure with the included locknut; avoid over-tightening nylon fittings, which can crack the body. Ensure the conduit sealing ring is properly seated to maintain the liquid-tight rating of the assembly.
