The RAB DESIGN LIGHTING SMS500 is a hardwired, wall-mounted light sensor suitable for outdoor use in wet locations. This sensor operates at 120V and is compatible with many electronic ballasts, excluding instant start ballasts. It features a 180-degree detection pattern and allows an adjustable time delay of five seconds to fifteen minutes. A manual override option resets after six hours using a double flip wall switch logic, preventing activation from brief outages. An LED indicator shows the detection status. It also includes surge protection rated up to 3000 volts and is designed to be immune to radio frequency interference. The photoelectric control deactivates lights during daylight while allowing customizable ambient light sensing for specific operational needs.
