The QUIKTRON 810-L12-050 is a multimode fiber optic patch cable configured with LC and ST connectors in a duplex arrangement. It is built around a 62.5 micron core fiber with a PVC jacket and measures 15 meters in length. This cable carries optical signals between network switches, patch panels, media converters, and active equipment in structured cabling systems. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors install this type of patch cable in both new construction and retrofit applications. The duplex configuration supports full-duplex data transmission over two fiber strands, which is standard practice in most enterprise and commercial network installations.
This patch cable is suited for use in indoor horizontal and equipment-room runs where PVC jacketing meets applicable code requirements. The LC-to-ST configuration makes it a practical interconnect between newer LC-port equipment and legacy ST-terminated panels or devices. At 15 meters, it covers typical inter-rack and cross-connect distances within a telecommunications room or data closet. It is sold as a single assembly and is ready for immediate installation without field termination.
Designed as a standard LC-to-ST duplex multimode patch cable for use with 62.5 micron multimode fiber optic infrastructure in indoor commercial and enterprise network environments.
Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling technicians or network infrastructure contractors. Inspect both connector end-faces for contamination before mating, and clean with an appropriate fiber optic cleaning tool if needed. Do not bend the cable below its minimum bend radius, and avoid cinching cable ties excessively tight, as mechanical stress degrades optical performance. Follow TIA-568 or applicable local structured cabling standards for routing and labeling.
