The QUIKTRON 576A-RD10-010 is a 10-foot Cat6a snagless unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential environments. Cat6a supports data transmission up to 10 Gbps and is rated for 500 MHz bandwidth, making it suitable for high-density network closets, server rooms, and horizontal runs where reliable throughput is required. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during cable management and routing, reducing connector damage in tight cable trays or patch panels. Licensed network technicians, low-voltage installers, and IT infrastructure crews are the primary trades handling this type of cable.
This patch cable is used to connect network switches, patch panels, routers, access points, and end devices in structured cabling systems. The red jacket color is commonly used for visual identification of specific network segments, VLANs, or security zones in accordance with site cable management standards. At 10 feet, the cable is well-suited for equipment rack patching, workstation connections, and short horizontal runs within a single rack or cabinet bay.
Designed as a standard Cat6a UTP patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on network switches, patch panels, routers, and other 8P8C-terminated Ethernet equipment meeting TIA-568 Cat6a standards.
Installation is performed by low-voltage technicians or network cabling professionals in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius and do not over-cinch cable ties, as either condition can degrade signal performance. Route cables away from high-voltage runs and fluorescent lighting to minimize electromagnetic interference. Verify patch panel and switch port categories match or exceed Cat6a before deployment.
