The QUIKTRON 576-RD25-010 is a booted CAT6 patch cable rated for CM (Communications Multipurpose) applications. Built on 28AWG conductors, this cable delivers structured wiring performance for voice, data, and low-voltage network connections. The snag-resistant boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during installation and repeated handling, reducing connector failure over the cable run's service life. It is sold as a single cable unit and is suited for patch panel terminations, switch ports, and equipment rack connections where a reliable, factory-assembled jumper is required.
This cable is intended for horizontal and equipment-room wiring in residential and light commercial structured cabling installations. Typical applications include connecting network switches to patch panels, patching wall jacks to desktop equipment, and short-run server room jumpers. The CM jacket rating allows installation in general-purpose communications pathways. At 10 feet in length with a white jacket, it is a common choice for color-coded cable management in network closets and AV installations. Low-voltage technicians, data cabling contractors, and IT infrastructure installers are the primary trades handling this product.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard patch cable for CAT6 and CAT6E structured cabling systems using RJ45 keystone jacks, patch panels, and network switch ports.
Installation is performed by low-voltage technicians or data cabling contractors in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. No tools are required for termination since this cable arrives factory-assembled. Avoid routing parallel to high-voltage conductors without maintaining adequate separation per NEC Article 800 guidelines. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable, and do not stretch or pinch the jacket during routing, as either can degrade signal integrity.
