The QUIKTRON 576-115-100 is a 100-foot CAT6 snagless patch cable finished in yellow with a CM (Communications Multipurpose) jacket rating. It is designed for structured cabling installations where a reliable, terminated copper data run is needed between network equipment, patch panels, switches, or wall jacks. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during routing and repeated connections. CM-rated jackets meet standard in-wall and general-purpose horizontal run requirements in commercial and residential low-voltage installations.
This patch cable is suited for low-voltage cabling work in commercial offices, data centers, server rooms, and residential structured wiring projects. At 100 feet, it covers longer horizontal runs between a patch panel and an access switch, or between a wall outlet and equipment rack. The yellow jacket is commonly used as a color-coding convention for specific VLANs, circuits, or zones, making cable management and troubleshooting faster in dense installations.
Designed as a standard RJ45 CAT6 patch cable compatible with CAT6 and CAT5e keystone jacks, patch panels, and network equipment ports using 8P8C connectors.
Low-voltage cabling installers and network technicians should follow TIA-568 bend radius and pull-tension guidelines when routing this cable through conduit or cable trays. Power down or disconnect active equipment at the port before seating or removing patch cables to avoid ESD damage to network interfaces. Avoid sharp bends near the boot, as sustained kinking can degrade CAT6 performance. CM-rated cable should not be substituted for CMP-rated (plenum) cable in plenum air-handling spaces.
