The QUIKTRON 576-100-003 is a Category 6 (CAT6) snagless patch cable in gray, designed for structured network wiring installations in commercial and light industrial environments. CAT6 patch cables carry high-speed data signals between network switches, patch panels, routers, and end devices. The snagless boot design protects the RJ45 locking tab during routing through cable trays and conduit, reducing the chance of connector damage during pulls. This cable is sold as a single unit and is suitable for use by low-voltage technicians and network installers working on voice and data infrastructure.
This patch cable is appropriate for horizontal runs between wall jacks and workstations, rack-to-rack connections in structured cabling systems, and temporary or permanent cross-connect applications in telecom rooms and data closets. At approximately 3 feet in length, it is well suited for short patch panel to switch connections in rack environments. The gray jacket color supports standard color-coding conventions commonly used in network infrastructure projects.
Designed as a standard CAT6 patch cable for use with RJ45 ports on network switches, patch panels, routers, and other Ethernet-compatible equipment.
Low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers typically handle CAT6 patch cable termination and routing. Follow TIA-568 standards for CAT6 channel performance, particularly when combining cables from multiple sources. Avoid sharp bends exceeding the minimum bend radius of CAT6 cable, and do not over-cinch cable ties, as either can degrade signal performance. Ensure ports on both ends are free of debris before seating the RJ45 connectors.
