The QUIKTRON 560-135-025 is a Cat5e unshielded twisted pair patch cable in a 25-foot length, terminated without boot guards on either end. Cat5e cabling supports Ethernet networks up to 1 Gbps and 100 MHz bandwidth, making it a standard choice for structured wiring in commercial and residential low-voltage installations. The black jacket provides easy visual identification in dense patch panel environments. Network technicians, low-voltage contractors, and data cabling installers use this cable for direct runs between patch panels, switches, routers, and network devices.
This patch cable is suited for horizontal runs and equipment connections in telecommunications rooms, server closets, and general office or facility network infrastructure. At 25 feet, it covers mid-length rack-to-rack or panel-to-device connections without excess slack. The no-boot design is preferred where cables are routed through tight cable managers or where boot damage from repeated reconnection is a concern. Suitable for both new installations and maintenance replacement work in structured cabling systems built to TIA-568 standards.
Designed as a standard Cat5e patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on Ethernet switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface devices meeting TIA-568 Cat5e wiring standards.
Installation is performed by low-voltage network or data cabling technicians and does not require power shutdown of the network device in most hot-swap scenarios, though best practice is to confirm with site network administration before patching live equipment. Route cables through dedicated cable managers or horizontal wire guides to avoid sharp bends that can degrade signal performance. Follow TIA-568 bend radius and pulling-tension guidelines during installation. Avoid running alongside high-voltage conductors to minimize electromagnetic interference.
