It features 100% natural white China bristle with a soft, supple tip that holds and releases fine finishes evenly. The square-edge profile suits detailed trim work, sash lines, and tight cut-in areas. A long-trim natural finish hardwood rattail handle provides extended reach and control. The square-edge stainless steel ferrule resists rust and crimping under repeated solvent cleaning. This brush is suited for licensed painters, finishing contractors, and skilled tradespeople working with oil-base paints, stains, varnishes, shellacs, lacquers, and polyurethanes.

The 144024420 is designed for application of solvent-based and oil-base coatings on interior and exterior trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and millwork. The natural China bristle construction performs best with oil-base paints, alkyd formulations, stains, varnishes, shellacs, lacquers, and polyurethanes. It is not recommended for latex or water-base coatings, which cause natural bristle to soften and lose its shape. This brush is well suited to residential and light commercial finishing work where a smooth, level coat is required on detailed surfaces.
