The PROTO JSCV14T is a 7/16-inch combination wrench built for professional trade use in mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance applications. It features a 12-point ratcheting head with a reversing mechanism, allowing the user to drive fasteners without repositioning the wrench on each stroke. The head is offset at 15 degrees for clearance in tight spaces. Constructed from steel with a corrosion-resistant chrome finish, the JSCV14T measures 6.5 inches overall and weighs 0.15 pounds. It meets ASME B107.100-2010 standards and is tether capable for use in elevated or safety-critical work environments.
This wrench is suited for licensed mechanics, HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers working on equipment fasteners, panel hardware, and mechanical assemblies where a standard open-end or box wrench would require full swing clearance. The ratcheting box end is particularly useful in confined spaces such as equipment cabinets, mechanical rooms, and overhead installations. The straight handle and 15-degree offset head provide controlled torque application in those restricted areas. The tether-capable design makes it appropriate for work at height or in environments where dropped tools present a safety hazard.
Designed for use with 7/16-inch fasteners in standard SAE applications across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical maintenance work.
This wrench is a hand tool requiring no special installation. Before use on energized equipment, follow applicable NFPA 70E or OSHA lockout/tagout procedures to de-energize and isolate the system. Verify the wrench head is fully seated on the fastener before applying torque to avoid rounding. If used as a tethered tool, attach an approved tool lanyard to the tether point before beginning work at elevation.
