The PROTO JSCR18T is a 9/16-inch ratcheting combination wrench built for trade professionals who need reliable fastener access in tight spaces. The wrench combines a 12-point box end with an open end on a straight handle, allowing ratcheting action without removing and repositioning the tool on the fastener. Constructed from steel with a chrome finish for corrosion resistance, it measures 7.5 inches overall. The 0-degree head offset keeps the working plane flat against the fastener surface, and the 15-degree opening angle on the open end provides clearance in confined areas. It is tether-capable, making it suitable for elevated or overhead work where dropped-tool safety protocols apply.
This wrench is used across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical trade work wherever 9/16-inch fasteners are encountered. The ratcheting box end is particularly useful during equipment installation, panel work, and mechanical assembly where swing arc is limited. The corrosion-resistant chrome finish holds up in field conditions including exposure to moisture and cleaning agents. At 0.22 pounds, it adds minimal weight to a tool pouch or belt kit.
Designed as a standard 9/16-inch combination wrench suitable for use with SAE fasteners across residential and commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trade applications.
This tool is intended for use by qualified trade professionals working with hand-tool-appropriate fasteners. Inspect the wrench before use for cracks, chips, or worn ratchet action, and do not use a damaged tool. When working on energized or pressurized systems, follow applicable lockout/tagout procedures before applying any fastener tool. Do not use extension bars or cheater pipes to increase leverage on a combination wrench, as this can overstress the tool and cause failure.
