The PROMAX US007141 is a single-end, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance metal cutting. The cutter measures 0.5 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and 4-inch overall length. A 0.5-inch straight shank seats directly into standard collets and tool holders. The variable helix design - running between 35 and 38 degrees - reduces harmonic chatter and improves chip evacuation in demanding cuts. A PowerLayer coating increases surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in abrasive and high-strength workpiece materials. Micrograin carbide substrate provides the rigidity needed for tight-tolerance profiling and slotting operations.

The US007141 is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys. It is centercutting, which allows plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral and slot milling.
