The PROMAX US007119 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding material removal in machining applications. With a 1/2 inch mill diameter, 4 flutes, and a 0.030 inch corner radius, this tool handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. The PowerLayer proprietary coating extends tool life and supports high-speed cutting in tough workpiece materials. Variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonics and chatter during aggressive cuts. This tool is installed by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, aerospace, and general manufacturing environments.
The US007119 is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and non-ferrous metals. With a short flute length and straight cylindrical shank, it fits standard toolholders and works well in applications where rigidity and precision are priorities. The 3 inch overall length and 0.750 inch length of cut make it a practical choice for side milling, slotting, and profiling on vertical and horizontal machining centers. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC mill setups.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/2 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible with CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers running right-hand spindle rotation. Suitable for workpiece materials coded P, M, K, S, and N per ISO classification, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and non-ferrous metals.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in a safe state. Secure the straight cylindrical shank in the toolholder to the full recommended gauge length to maximize rigidity and minimize runout. Verify corner radius tolerance and mill diameter tolerance are within acceptable limits before use in tight-tolerance operations. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when setting tool offsets and running first-article cuts.
