The PROMAX 137-00850 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent edge radii on machined parts. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance needed for precision contouring work in metals, composites, and engineering plastics. The 1/8 inch diameter mill carries a 0.03 mm (0.0310 inch) corner radius with a radius tolerance of plus or minus 0.001 inch, making it suitable for tight-tolerance finishing passes where controlled edge breaks or radius profiles are required. With two flutes and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, it is well matched to CNC milling centers and manual mills running appropriate feed and speed parameters for carbide tooling.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments including tool and die shops, aerospace component work, and general production milling where a small, repeatable corner radius must be applied to part edges. The double-end design allows the tool to be flipped and used from the second end once the first end shows wear, extending usable tool life. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders common in both CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills. The bright, uncoated finish is appropriate for general-purpose applications and non-ferrous materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills accepting 1/8 inch shank diameter end mill holders or ER collet chucks.
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator familiar with carbide end mill handling and machine tool operation. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify collet size, runout, and tool projection before beginning a cut, as excessive runout will accelerate edge wear and compromise radius accuracy. Follow machine manufacturer feed and speed recommendations for micrograin carbide tooling in the specific workpiece material.
