The PROMAX 119-02016 is a single-end, corner radius end mill designed for roughing and finishing operations in one pass. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with zirconium nitride (ZrN), it delivers hardness and thermal resistance suited to demanding milling applications. The 5/16 inch diameter cutter runs a 3-flute, right-hand flute geometry with a 40-degree helix angle, promoting efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. A 0.02 inch corner radius blends floor and wall transitions, reducing stress concentrations in the workpiece and extending edge life. This tool is center-cutting and accepts standard straight-cylindrical tool holders.

This end mill is suited for machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and wear-resistant alloys where a combined roughing and finishing pass reduces cycle time.
