The PROMAX 109-01644 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It features a 0.25 inch diameter cutting head, a 1.5 inch length of cut, and a 3.5 inch overall length with a 0.25 inch shank. The three-flute, spiral-flute geometry with a 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finish. An AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions. This end mill is center-cutting, allowing direct plunge entry into material.
