Built from solid carbide micrograin substrate and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it delivers high hardness and heat resistance suited for cutting ferrous and hardened materials. The 1/2 inch diameter tool features 4 flutes with a fine pitch and a high helix angle of 40 degrees, which promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces during roughing passes.
