The PROMAX 101-01612 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and composite materials. It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a corner radius range of 0.04 to 0.05 inches. The four-flute geometry combined with a 40-degree high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. A TiCN coating increases surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The centercutting design allows plunge milling as well as standard peripheral and slot cutting. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.

This end mill is suited for finish and semi-finish milling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloy steels, and hardened materials where corner edge protection and tight tolerances are required. The fine-pitch flute spacing and right-hand cutting and flute direction make it a standard fit for conventional CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. The 2-1/2 inch overall length and 1/4 inch shank diameter are compatible with standard collet toolholding systems. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in a safe state.
