Product Description

The PROGRESS LIGHTING P8071-28/30K-L10-STR2 is a 6 inch LED recessed trim designed for use with compatible LED housings in residential and light commercial ceiling applications. Delivering 1000 lumens at 3000K color temperature, it provides warm white light output comparable to a standard incandescent downlight while consuming up to 75 percent less energy. The trim ships with an Edison base adapter and a quick-link connector, allowing straightforward installation into many existing incandescent recessed cans. It is intended for installation by licensed electricians or experienced lighting contractors.

This trim is suited for new construction builds as well as remodel and retrofit projects. The 3000K output makes it appropriate for living spaces, hallways, kitchens, and similar interior environments where warm-tone general lighting is required. Compatibility

Designed for use with the PROGRESS LIGHTING P87-LED and P821-FBLED LED housings. Also installs into many standard 6 inch incandescent recessed cans via the included Edison base adapter. The P87-LED housing is required (sold separately) to achieve Title 24 and IECC compliance.

Installation Notes

Shut off power at the circuit breaker before beginning any wiring work.
