The PRO-SOURCE UMF-04NL is an intermediate-grade coalescing filter designed to remove oil aerosols, liquid water, and fine particulates from compressed air lines. With a 0.1 micron rating, it delivers a high level of air cleanliness suited for pneumatic tools, instrumentation, and process equipment that cannot tolerate moisture or oil contamination. The polycarbonate bowl with nylon bowl guard provides a balance of impact resistance and visibility. A semi-automatic drain removes accumulated liquid without full manual intervention, reducing maintenance burden in active service environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance techs, and plumbing professionals install this type of filter as part of point-of-use air preparation systems.
The UMF-04NL fits into compressed air distribution systems where intermediate-level filtration is required upstream of regulators, lubricators, or sensitive pneumatic components. The 1/2 inch port size suits moderate-flow branch lines common in light industrial, commercial HVAC mechanical rooms, and shop air setups. The built-in sight glass allows a quick visual check of bowl condition and liquid accumulation without disassembly. Maximum operating temperature is 140 degrees F, making it appropriate for indoor compressed air applications where ambient and line temperatures remain within that range.
Designed as an intermediate coalescing filter for compressed air preparation systems using 1/2 inch ported connections. Suitable for use with standard modular air preparation assemblies in light industrial and commercial applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system plumbing. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before installing or servicing this filter. Mount the unit vertically with the bowl oriented downward to ensure proper liquid drainage and semi-automatic drain function. Verify that upstream supply pressure and temperature do not exceed the rated limits of the filter before returning the system to service.
