The PRO-SOURCE TSL-770-HD-IB-PRO is a heavy duty nylon cable tie rated for 175 lb tensile strength and sized at 30.375 inches in overall length. Built from black nylon with a 0.35-inch strap width, it is engineered for high-load bundling tasks where standard-duty ties fall short. The tie handles temperature extremes from -40 degrees F to 185 degrees F, making it suitable for both indoor mechanical spaces and outdoor service environments. HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general trade contractors use this size for securing large wire harnesses, conduit bundles, flexible duct, and pipe insulation wrap.
This cable tie is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where large-diameter bundle management is required. With a maximum bundle diameter of 220 mm, it accommodates substantial wiring runs, conduit groups, and mechanical piping bundles. It is commonly used during rough-in and equipment installation phases, as well as in panel work, equipment rooms, and utility spaces where durable, long-term bundling is needed. The black nylon construction resists UV degradation better than natural nylon, making it appropriate for applications with incidental light exposure.
Designed as a standard one-piece self-locking cable tie for use in trade, industrial, and mechanical applications requiring a 30.375-inch heavy duty tie with 175 lb tensile strength.
Cable ties of this size are typically installed by hand or with a cable tie tensioning tool that controls pull force and cuts the tail flush. Always inspect the locking head before cinching to ensure the pawl engages fully. Avoid over-tensioning against sharp bundle edges that could nick insulation on wire bundles. Cut the tail flush at the locking head using flush-cut pliers or a tensioning tool to prevent a sharp stub that could cause hand injuries during service.
