The PRO-SOURCE RS30-PLM is a heavy-duty push broom designed for high-volume sweeping in commercial, industrial, and trade environments. The broom head spans 30 inches wide with 4-inch Palmyra bristles set in a solid wood block. Palmyra fiber is a natural, stiff bristle material well-suited for sweeping coarse debris, dirt, and grit from concrete, asphalt, and warehouse floors. The threaded handle connection accepts standard threaded replacement handles, making it easy to swap handles without replacing the broom head. At 6 pounds, the assembly offers substantial weight for controlled, efficient strokes across large surface areas.
This push broom is appropriate for heavy-duty sweeping tasks in warehouses, loading docks, job sites, garages, and commercial facilities. The 30-inch sweep width covers wide floor areas quickly, reducing passes needed to clear a space. It is commonly used by facilities maintenance crews, contractors, and trade professionals who need a durable, workhorse broom for rough or unfinished floor surfaces. The stiff Palmyra bristles hold up to abrasive debris that would wear down softer synthetic brushes faster.
Designed as a heavy-duty replacement or new-installation push broom head for use with standard threaded broom handles. Handle is not included and must be sourced separately.
Thread a compatible broom handle into the wood block connection until snug - do not overtighten, as excessive force can strip the threaded insert or crack the wood block. Inspect the threaded fitting before first use to confirm a secure connection. No tools are required for standard handle attachment. Replace the broom head when bristle wear reduces sweeping effectiveness.
