It measures 16 x 25 x 2 inches nominal (actual dimensions: 15-1/2 x 24-1/2 x 1-3/4 inches) and uses a wire-backed synthetic media construction to maintain pleat shape under airflow. At MERV 13, the filter captures 80 to 85 percent of target particles, making it effective against fine dust, pollen, mold spores, and fine particulate matter. The beverage board frame provides structural rigidity. Licensed HVAC technicians and building maintenance personnel are the primary installers of this filter type.
