The PRO-SOURCE PRO18333 is a synthetic media bag air filter rated MERV 13, designed for commercial and industrial HVAC air handling units and fan coil applications requiring high-efficiency particulate capture. The filter measures 29 inches deep with a nominal face size of 20 inches wide by 24 inches high. Synthetic media construction with a galvanized steel frame supports continuous operation at airflows up to 1,667 CFM and air velocities up to 500 feet per minute. Particle capture efficiency runs 80 to 85 percent across the MERV 13 target size range. HVAC technicians and building engineers specify this filter where indoor air quality standards or mechanical room ventilation requirements call for high-side filtration.
This bag filter is suited for commercial air handling units, rooftop units with high-efficiency filter sections, and dedicated outdoor air systems where MERV 13 filtration is specified by code or owner requirement. The 6-pocket design maintains media surface area at full airflow while minimizing pressure drop across the filter bank. The galvanized steel integrated frame simplifies drop-in installation into standard side-access or front-access filter housings sized for 20-by-24-inch nominal filter banks. Maximum rated operating temperature is 150 degrees F, making it compatible with systems handling warm exhaust or recirculated process air within that range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bag filter for commercial HVAC air handling units, fan coil units, and dedicated outdoor air systems using standard 20-by-24-inch nominal filter banks with sufficient depth to accept a 29-inch bag filter.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified mechanical contractors. Power down the air handling unit and confirm the unit is locked out before opening the filter access panel and removing the existing filter. Verify the filter housing accommodates the full 29-inch nominal depth before insertion to ensure proper seating of the galvanized steel frame. Dispose of spent filters in accordance with local waste regulations, particularly where the filter has captured fine particulate from industrial or commercial processes.
