The PRO-SOURCE PRO18301 is a synthetic-media bag air filter rated MERV 15, designed for commercial and industrial HVAC air-handling systems that demand high-efficiency particulate capture. With nominal dimensions of 20 inches wide by 24 inches high by 36 inches deep, this six-pocket filter delivers a particle capture efficiency of 90 to 95 percent across the MERV 15 test range. The galvanized steel integrated frame provides structural rigidity under sustained airflow. A maximum working temperature of 150 degrees F and a rated airflow capacity of 1,667 CFM make this filter appropriate for demanding mechanical room and rooftop unit applications. Licensed HVAC technicians and commercial mechanical contractors are the typical installers.
This bag filter is suited for commercial air-handling units, built-up systems, and large fan-coil installations that require final or intermediate filtration at MERV 15 efficiency. The 36-inch depth accommodates deep-pocket filter housings common in commercial mechanical systems. At 500 feet per minute maximum face velocity, the filter maintains efficiency without excessive pressure drop across the media. Systems handling fine dust, mold spores, and other sub-micron particulate in healthcare, education, laboratory, or light-industrial occupancies benefit from this efficiency tier.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bag filter for commercial air-handling units and built-up systems that accept a 20 inches wide by 24 inches high by 36 inches deep bag filter housing. Verify actual housing dimensions against the actual filter dimensions of 19.375 inches wide by 23.375 inches high by 36 inches deep before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician following the equipment manufacturer's service procedures and applicable local mechanical codes. Power down and lock out the air-handling unit before removing the existing filter bank and inserting the replacement. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the frame align with system airflow before securing the filter in the housing. Dispose of spent filters in accordance with local regulations, particularly when filters have captured hazardous particulate.
