The PRO-SOURCE PRO18289 is a synthetic media bag air filter rated MERV 15, designed for high-efficiency particulate capture in commercial and light-industrial HVAC air-handling systems. With a particle capture efficiency of 90 to 95 percent and a five-pocket bag construction, it delivers superior filtration performance compared to standard panel or pleated filters. The galvanized steel frame provides structural rigidity through the full service life of the filter. Nominal dimensions are 20 inches wide by 24 inches high by 22 inches deep, with actual dimensions of 19.375 inches wide by 23.375 inches high by 22 inches deep. Maximum rated airflow is 500 FPM at up to 1667 CFM, and the media is rated for continuous use up to 150 degrees F.
The PRO18289 is suited for commercial air-handling units, dedicated outdoor air systems, and central-station air handlers where indoor air quality standards call for high-efficiency filtration. It is commonly installed upstream of cooling coils or downstream of pre-filters in multi-stage filtration assemblies. Applications include schools, hospitals, clean manufacturing environments, and office buildings where MERV 15 performance is required by design specification or code. Licensed HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of bag filters in these systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bag filter for commercial air-handling units and central-station systems requiring a 20 x 24 x 22 inch nominal MERV 15 bag filter. Verify actual opening dimensions against the 19.375 inch by 23.375 inch actual face size before installation.
Bag air filters of this type are installed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified mechanical contractors. Always power down the air-handling unit and lock out the disconnect before accessing the filter section. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the frame align with system airflow prior to seating the filter in the rack. Inspect the filter rack and gasket seals for damage or bypass gaps at each filter change interval.
