The PRO-SOURCE Pro-SM-43-4134L is a 1/2 inch drive pneumatic impact wrench built for automotive, fleet, and mechanical service applications. It delivers a maximum torque output of 580 ft/lb and a minimum breakaway torque of 50 ft/lb, covering a wide range of fastener removal and installation tasks. Running at 8,000 RPM with 1,300 impacts per minute, this tool moves through lug nuts, suspension hardware, and heavy fasteners efficiently. Air supply requirements are 6.2 CFM at 90 psi through a 1/4 inch NPT inlet, with a minimum 3/8 inch hose recommended. The pistol grip handle with handle exhaust keeps the operator comfortable during extended use. At 4.62 pounds, it is manageable for overhead and confined-space work.
This impact wrench is suited for professional shop environments, fleet maintenance bays, and field service trucks where a reliable air supply is available. The 1/2 inch square drive accepts standard impact-rated sockets and extensions. The 50 to 580 ft/lb torque range makes it practical for light assembly work as well as heavy fastener removal on trucks, trailers, agricultural equipment, and industrial machinery. A licensed mechanic or journeyman technician is the typical installer and operator of this tool class.
Designed for use with standard 1/2 inch drive impact-rated sockets and accessories. Requires a compressed air source capable of maintaining 90 psi and a minimum flow rate of 6.2 CFM through a 3/8 inch or larger air hose with a 1/4 inch NPT fitting.
Connection and operation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or pneumatic tool technician. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed the tool rated operating pressure of 90 psi. Use only impact-rated sockets and accessories — standard chrome sockets are not rated for impact tool use and can shatter. Shut off and bleed the air line before attaching or removing the tool from the hose.
