The PRO-SOURCE PC69-DOTS-86 is a brass push-to-connect tube fitting designed for fast, tool-free connections in general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems. One end accepts tubing with a 1/2 inch outside diameter via a push-to-connect mechanism, while the other end terminates in a male NPT threaded connection. The brass body provides corrosion resistance and durability across a range of working pressures. This fitting meets DOT standards, making it suitable for use in air brake and other regulated compressed-air applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC-R technicians install this type of fitting in both service and original equipment contexts.
This fitting is used in general-purpose pneumatic systems, compressed-air distribution lines, and fluid transfer assemblies where a quick-connect tube-to-threaded-pipe transition is needed. The push-to-connect end accepts 1/2 inch OD tubing, and the MNPT thread engages standard NPT female ports on valves, manifolds, tanks, and equipment fittings. Its DOT compliance makes it an appropriate choice in air brake system maintenance and other regulated transport equipment repairs where approved components are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or general-purpose push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic and compressed-air systems accepting 1/2 inch OD tubing with standard NPT threaded ports.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified HVAC-R and pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disconnecting or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Confirm that tubing outside diameter and NPT thread size match the fitting specifications before assembly. Apply thread sealant to the MNPT end in accordance with applicable codes, and inspect the push-to-connect collet and O-ring seating after installation before returning the system to service.
