The PRO-SOURCE PC69-DOTS-42 is a brass 90-degree swivel elbow tube fitting designed for push-to-connect installations. It accepts 1/4-inch outside diameter tubing on one end and connects to a male NPT threaded port on the other, making it a straightforward push-to-connect x MNPT transition fitting. The swivel elbow design allows the threaded end to rotate during installation, which simplifies alignment to existing ports without twisting the tubing. This fitting meets DOT standards and is suited for general-purpose fluid and pneumatic line work in light industrial, HVAC, and plumbing service applications.
This fitting is used in general-purpose tubing systems where a 90-degree directional change is needed between a push-to-connect tube run and a male NPT threaded port. It is commonly installed in compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, and small-bore fluid distribution systems in both residential and light commercial settings. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors use fittings of this type during new installation and service work where tight routing around obstructions is required.
Designed for general-purpose use with 1/4-inch OD tubing systems using standard NPT-threaded ports, consistent with typical pneumatic and fluid control line applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanical contractor familiar with push-to-connect fittings and NPT thread connections. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Hand-tighten the NPT threads first, then apply appropriate thread sealant per the system fluid type and applicable codes before final tightening. Verify that tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and inserted fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats, as incomplete insertion is the most common cause of leaks with this fitting style.
