The PRO-SOURCE PC69-DOT-88 is a brass 90-degree push-to-connect elbow fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid transfer lines in trade and industrial applications. One end accepts 1/2-inch outside diameter tubing via a push-to-connect mechanism, while the other end terminates in a male NPT threaded connection. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance and reliable sealing in compressed air, pneumatic control, and general-purpose fluid systems. This fitting carries DOT certification, making it appropriate for use in regulated transport and pressure-bearing line installations. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this type of fitting when a compact 90-degree directional change is needed at a threaded port without the need for additional tools on the tube side.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose applications across residential and light commercial systems where 1/2-inch OD tubing connects to a male NPT threaded port at a right angle. Typical installation scenarios include compressed air distribution, pneumatic control panels, refrigeration-adjacent tubing runs, and fluid transfer assemblies. The push-to-connect end allows fast, tool-free tube insertion, reducing labor time during initial installation or field repair. The male NPT thread end connects directly to standard NPT female ports on valves, manifolds, or equipment housings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid transfer systems using 1/2-inch OD tubing with a male NPT threaded connection point.
Installation of push-to-connect fittings should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician. Before installation or removal, depressurize the line completely and verify system pressure has been relieved. Insert tubing fully until it seats against the internal stop to ensure a proper seal. When threading the NPT end, apply appropriate thread sealant tape and tighten to standard NPT fitting practice without overtightening, which can crack the fitting body.
