The PRO-SOURCE PC64-DOT-6 is a brass push-to-connect union tee fitting designed for quick, tool-free connections in general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems. The push-to-connect design allows a technician to seat tubing with a single push, eliminating the need for threaded fittings or ferrule compression during assembly. Constructed from brass, the fitting offers solid corrosion resistance for use with air, water, and compatible media. It accommodates tubing with a 3/8 inch outside diameter and is rated to a maximum working pressure of 250 psi, making it suitable for a wide range of low-to-medium pressure service applications.
This fitting is intended for general-purpose use across residential and light commercial installations where push-to-connect tube fittings are the standard connection method. Typical applications include pneumatic control lines, compressed air distribution, water supply tubing, and HVAC condensate or refrigeration ancillary lines. The union tee configuration splits or combines flow at a single point, making it useful for tee-offs in existing runs without cutting and re-routing full segments of tubing. The DOT compliance designation indicates the fitting meets Department of Transportation standards, which is relevant for installations in vehicle-mounted or transport-adjacent systems.
Designed for general-purpose use with 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing in pneumatic, compressed air, and fluid handling systems where push-to-connect brass fittings are specified.
Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before insertion, as irregular cuts can compromise the internal collet seal and cause leaks under pressure. A licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician should verify that the fitting material and pressure rating are appropriate for the specific media and operating conditions at the install site. After assembly, slowly re-pressurize the system and inspect all new connections for leaks before returning the system to service.
