The PRO-SOURCE BGJD 21 is a stainless steel pipe and conduit strap designed to secure half-inch pipe, tubing, or conduit to structural surfaces. Fabricated from 304 stainless steel with a plain finish, this single-hole strap provides corrosion-resistant hold-down performance in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical conduit installations. The 304-grade stainless construction makes it suitable for environments where carbon steel hardware would be prone to rust or chemical attack. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians install this type of strap to anchor runs of pipe or conduit against walls, joists, and structural framing. Each unit ships individually and is compatible with all conduit types.
This strap is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever half-inch pipe or conduit requires a fixed anchor point. Typical installations include securing copper or PVC water supply lines, EMT or rigid conduit runs, and small-diameter refrigerant or gas lines. The single mounting hole keeps installation hardware minimal. The plain stainless finish requires no additional coating and is well suited to mechanical rooms, utility chases, crawlspaces, and wet or corrosive environments where a durable hold-down is needed without adding bulk.
Designed as an OEM-style hold-down strap for half-inch pipe, tubing, and conduit in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical conduit applications across all conduit types.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or electricians depending on the pipe or conduit being secured. De-energize any electrical circuits and shut off fluid supply before working on active lines. Fasten the strap with a single fastener appropriate for the mounting surface material, following applicable IPC, IFGC, or NEC spacing requirements for the pipe or conduit type. Avoid over-tightening the mounting fastener against stainless straps on softer conduit materials.
