The PRO-SOURCE 5400002113JP is a quick exhaust valve designed to rapidly vent air from pneumatic actuators, cylinders, and other downstream components. By exhausting air locally rather than routing it back through the control valve, it significantly increases actuator extension and retraction speeds. The body is constructed from aluminum alloy, keeping weight low while providing adequate durability for industrial pneumatic circuits. The valve accepts a 1/2 inch NPT inlet connection and features a 3/4 inch exhaust port to handle the expanded airflow volume on the exhaust stroke. Operating pressure range runs from 7.1 to 140.78 psi, covering most plant air and mobile pneumatic applications. Licensed pneumatic or industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
This valve is suited for use in pneumatic control systems where actuator cycle speed is a priority. Common applications include automated assembly equipment, clamping fixtures, material handling cylinders, and pneumatic press controls operating on standard shop air. The 1/2 inch NPT inlet threads directly into existing port configurations without adapters in most standard pneumatic circuit layouts. The larger 3/4 inch exhaust port prevents back-pressure buildup on the exhaust side, which would otherwise slow actuator travel. Both light industrial and heavier production environments fall within its rated pressure envelope.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-installation quick exhaust valve for pneumatic circuits requiring a 1/2 inch NPT inlet connection and a 3/4 inch exhaust port outlet.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified pneumatic or industrial maintenance technician. Depressurize the system completely and lock out the air supply before removing any existing fittings or installing this valve. Apply thread sealant appropriate for pneumatic service to the NPT threads and hand-tighten before using a wrench to avoid cross-threading the aluminum body. Verify that the inlet and exhaust port orientations are correct relative to actuator flow direction before returning the system to service.
