The PRO-SOURCE 4903400013PRO is an aluminum in-line check valve with 3/4-inch male and 3/4-inch female NPT threaded connections. Check valves allow fluid or air flow in one direction only, preventing backflow that can damage equipment or disrupt system performance. The body is machined from aluminum for corrosion resistance in light-duty pneumatic and fluid-handling applications. The Buna Nitrile o-ring provides a reliable seal across a broad range of media compatible with that elastomer. At 3.88 inches in length and 0.4 pounds, this valve is compact enough for tight plumbing runs and light enough for overhead installations. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance technicians.
This check valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where controlled unidirectional flow is required. Typical installations include air compressor lines, pneumatic control circuits, condensate drain lines, and general fluid-handling piping where backflow prevention is needed at a 3/4-inch NPT connection point. The NPT thread form ensures compatibility with standard pipe fittings found throughout North American trade plumbing systems.
Designed as an OEM-style in-line check valve replacement for systems using 3/4-inch NPT threaded connections in pneumatic, HVAC, and general fluid-handling piping assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME or IFGC guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing the existing valve or making any threaded connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to NPT threads and tighten to snug-plus-hand-tight; do not over-torque aluminum fittings. Verify flow-direction arrow or internal orientation before final installation to ensure the valve is installed in the correct orientation for the intended flow path.
