The PRO-SOURCE 4410003450PRO is a sintered bronze pneumatic exhaust muffler designed to reduce noise at the exhaust port of pneumatic valves, cylinders, and directional control components. It threads directly into standard exhaust ports via a 3/4 inch Male NPT connection and attenuates exhaust noise to a rated 99 dB. The sintered bronze construction allows airflow through millions of tiny pores, diffusing the exhaust blast and cutting decibel levels without restricting flow to the point of affecting actuator speed. At 2.25 inches in overall length and 1.0625 inches in overall width, it is a compact, direct-install component. Pneumatic system technicians and maintenance mechanics install this part as a standard service item on compressed air circuits.
This muffler fits residential, commercial, and industrial pneumatic systems wherever a 3/4 inch Male NPT exhaust port is present. Typical applications include solenoid valve exhaust ports, cylinder end caps, manifold exhaust sections, and pneumatic timer or relay exhaust outlets. The rated operating temperature range of 35 degrees F to 300 degrees F makes it suitable for both indoor climate-controlled environments and warmer industrial settings such as machine rooms, production floors, and mechanical equipment rooms.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-install muffler for pneumatic valves, cylinders, and directional control components with a 3/4 inch Male NPT exhaust port.
Depressurize and lock out the compressed air circuit before removing or installing any pneumatic fitting or muffler. Thread the muffler hand-tight into the exhaust port, then snug with a wrench on the hex body — do not over-torque sintered bronze fittings, as the element can crack. Confirm no air leaks at the thread after system re-pressurization. This is a standard task performed by pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance mechanics.
