The PRO-SOURCE 332-7GC2 is a 2% ceriated tungsten TIG welding rod designed for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) applications. Each rod measures 7 inches in length with a 3/32-inch diameter and carries the gray color code that identifies the 2% cerium oxide content. Ceriated tungsten electrodes offer stable arc starting, low burn-off rate, and consistent arc performance across a wide range of materials. This rod is sold in a package of 10 and is suited for professional welders working with stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and other base metals in shop or field environments.
This electrode fits standard TIG torch collet bodies sized for 3/32-inch tungsten. It is commonly used in light industrial, fabrication, and maintenance welding settings where 2% ceriated tungsten is specified. The 7-inch overall length is a standard cut that fits most conventional TIG torch setups without modification. Welding professionals, pipefitters, and fabricators working on precision joints will find this rod a straightforward drop-in for existing 3/32-inch collet configurations.
Designed for use with TIG torches equipped with 3/32-inch collet bodies. Compatible with standard GTAW equipment accepting 7-inch tungsten electrodes of 3/32-inch diameter.
TIG tungsten electrodes are installed and replaced by qualified welders or welding technicians. Ensure the welding machine is powered down and the torch is cool before changing electrodes. Use the correct collet size matching the 3/32-inch diameter to ensure proper electrical contact and arc stability. Prepare the electrode tip geometry according to the base material and current type before striking an arc.
