The PRO-SOURCE 2101007510PRO is an oil/water separator designed to remove oil-contaminated condensate from compressed air system drain lines. It handles up to 230 CFM at a maximum working pressure of 250 psi, making it suitable for mid-size shop compressors and light industrial air systems. The unit uses a sintered bronze filter element rated at 40 microns to capture oil droplets entrained in condensate before discharge. A manual drain and integrated sight glass allow the technician to monitor bowl fill level and drain accumulated liquid on a set schedule. The zinc bowl holds 10 oz. HVAC and mechanical contractors installing compressed air systems will find this unit straightforward to service in the field.
This separator is used wherever compressed air condensate must be treated before discharge to a drain. Typical applications include reciprocating and rotary screw compressor installations in commercial and light industrial facilities where oil-free condensate discharge is required by local environmental regulations. The 3/4 inch NPT threaded connection fits standard compressed air drain piping configurations. It is installed on the condensate outlet of air dryers, filters, or receiver tanks by pipefitters or mechanical contractors as part of a complete compressed air treatment train.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation oil/water separator for compressed air systems requiring condensate treatment at the drain outlet.
Installation is performed by a licensed pipefitter or qualified mechanical technician. Isolate and depressurize the compressed air system completely before making any connections. Verify that inlet pressure will not exceed the 250 psi maximum working pressure rating during operation. Consult applicable local plumbing and mechanical codes for condensate discharge requirements prior to installation.
