The PRO-SAFE SLA-H1-18T is an 18-inch cut-resistant arm sleeve constructed from ATA high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) knit fabric. Rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A4, it provides reliable protection against sharp edges and abrasion in demanding work environments. The sleeve features a 10-gauge knit construction and an elastic cuff for secure fit retention. A thumb hole keeps the sleeve positioned correctly during use. Black and white coloring with a color-coded overedge indicates sleeve width, making sizing identification quick in the field. Licensed trade and safety professionals specify this sleeve for hand and arm protection programs.
The SLA-H1-18T suits a wide range of industrial and trade applications including HVAC sheet metal work, plumbing rough-in, electrical conduit handling, and general mechanical service where lacerations from sharp metal edges, pipe burrs, or conduit are a hazard. The universal sizing accommodates most users, and the three-width design with color-coded overedge allows crews to quickly identify the correct fit. It is equally applicable in light manufacturing, glass handling, and maintenance environments where A4-rated arm protection is required by a job site safety plan.
Designed as a universal-fit cut-resistant arm sleeve suitable for use as personal protective equipment in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical service applications requiring ANSI A4 arm protection.
Pull the sleeve over the forearm with the thumb hole engaged before beginning any cutting, deburring, or sheet metal handling task. Inspect the sleeve before each use for visible cuts, snags, or areas of wear that may reduce protection level. Launder according to manufacturer care instructions to maintain fabric integrity and cut-resistance rating. PPE selection and use should comply with applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 personal protective equipment standards for the specific job site hazard assessment.
